Saint-Tropez…my recap <3!

My little holiday is over and with this last post I say good-bye to the marvellous Saint-Tropez. Before getting there I didn’t have a clear idea about cool venues, good restaurants and not-to-be-missed boutiques…so I asked Virginiaone of the most stylish women that I’ve ever met, who, by chance, is a habitué of this seaside resort. Some of her advice, some of my sixth sense have made this adventure really unforgettable, so, if you’ll pass by one day, this is what we suggest. Among the most famous hotels: ByblosLe Yaca and Hotel Du Paris. The beach: Le Club 55, if you love the comfort of a fully-equipped beach, cool people and a good kitchen, well, you’re in the right place! Pay attention and be punctual though, you must arrive within 12 a.m., if you’re in, you’re in, if you’re out, you’re out. Two turns to serve lunch and I can tell you that it’s worth, live music for a party-on atmosphere, and even if the service is quick, you’ll enjoy be sitting there and you’ll forget about the only reason why people go to the beach: sun tan! Filled with a fragrance that I haven’t identified yet but, almost sure that it’s lavender, you’ll come back to the village, sunset time…cocktail time, and a memory knocks on my mind’s door and brings me to the port, to a typical cafè with red curtains and tables, Senequier…got it! It was exactly where in 2011 Karl Lagerfeld had his cruise collection show! Dinner time, another important issue, where can we head to? Do you love Provencal style? Well,  Auberge des Maure, or Le Grand Joseph, always a good choice. If you’d rather have Moroccan cuisine, the most in vogue restaurant is Le Salama. My favourite? Dior des Lices, simple delicatessen, romantic atmosphere and a sweet touch…with a fabolous tarte tropézienne! And what about shopping? The selection is broad, from the most renowned brands: Chanel, Hermes, Vuitton, Dior, Fendi, Pucci, Céline, Blumarine, Scervino, Gucci, Louboutin,  to the most typical ones such as Castañer and K. Jacques, where you’ll find sandals, caftans and artisanal hats. Would you go for a vintage piece?  At Lederôt you’ll find second-hand pieces so recent that they are not vintage at all, marvellous pieces yet extremely expensive….I’ve given up! But I managed to find something at Manoush, a brand of which I haven’t talked a lot, the boutique in Saint-Tropez is very cool and one of the spots I haven’t missed;-)…(Virna, your fault!). I hope everybody will have the chance to pass by Saint-Tropez at least once in their life…even if, one, I can tell you, it’s not enough….my Saint-Tropez recap is over, stay tuned <3!
