La parola “outfit” è inflazionata, la usano tutti, ma la versione francese, panoplies, ha un sapore diverso, più chic, più orecchiabile ed è così che si chiama l’editoriale di Vogue Paris per il mese di dicembre scattato da Giampaolo Sgura. Una serie di scatti che rimarrà nella storia e che segue le orme dell’ultima sfilata di Moschino. Un tributo a Barbie, alla sua perfezione, al suo carisma. Una bambola con le sembianze da modella o una modella con le sembianze da bambola? Anche questa volta, la seconda ipotesi è quella giusta e, per esattezza, le modelle sono due: Magdalena Frackowiak e Elisabeth Erm, vestite da dodici tra i più importanti brand del mondo e fotografate all’interno di scatole griffate. Non farne una versione toy sarebbe un peccato, Jeremy Scott insegna, forse per questo Natale i tempi sono un po’ stretti, ma per il prossimo, un cadeaux d’eccezione potrebbe anche finire sotto l’albero.

The term “Outfit” is commonplace, everybody uses it but its French version, panoplies, has a different taste, it’s chic, it has a pleasant sound and this is title chosen for Vogue Paris editorial for the December issue with shooting by Giampaolo Sgura. A series of photos that will make the history and that follows the steps of the last show by Moschino. A tribute to Barbie, to her perfection and charisma. A doll looking like a model or a model looking like a doll? This time too, the second option is the right one and, in particular, the models are two: Magdalena Frackowiak and Elisabeth Erm, dressed by twelve of the most important brands in the world and photographed inside designer’s boxes. Not making a toy version of this shooting would be a pity, Jeremy Scotto docet, perhaps there’s no time for this Christmas but, next year limited edition cadeaux could be under our Christmas tree.
