Per portare in scena una nuova versione di “Mille e una notte” non serve altro che un genio…ma quando si parla della nuova collezione crociera di CHANEL, presentata a Dubai qualche giorno fa, non è quello della lampada di Aladino che occorre, ma quello di Karl Lagerfeld che col suo eclettico trasformismo riesce a rendere speciale anche ciò che non lo è, non stavamo appunto parlando di magia ;-)? Tweed e patchwork di stampe floreali sono la base con cui costruire tailleur in tre pezzi, tuniche, bluse, abiti e gonne in tessuti leggeri, giocando con geometrie tridimensionali e applicazioni preziose. E se non è la collezione lo strumento principale con cui colpire nel segno, allora che si lasci questo compito alla scenografia della location: un’isola privata che si affaccia sul deserto e su uno skyline mozzafiato. Dopotutto ogni spettacolo diretto da Karl gode della proprietà commutativa, cambiando l’ordine degli addendi, il risultato non cambia e il suo è sempre grande!
