 Questa volta sono stata previdente…mi sono mossa a inizio gennaio per averla… tra tutti i modelli, ho scelto lei, la mini Cadillac full optionals… con fanali posteriori, fiamma laterale, tacco in silver e pietra preziosa sul “cofano”…. e in questi colori…nella mia testa l’avevo battezzata così e nessuno mi avrebbe fatto cambiare idea! A Pitti mi sono rivolta allo Store di Firenze e un paio di settimane fa mi hanno avvisata che era finalmente disponibile!!! L’ho confermata, l’ho pagata, è stata spedita e quando l’ho provata… mi sono sentita come Genoveffa e Anastasia durante la prova della scarpetta nella Cenerentola di Disney…non entrava!!! Sarebbe stato troppo bello poterla indossare prima dell’arrivo della primavera e infatti…non succederà, domani la rimando a casa, a Firenze, ma non temete, l’Enri non si può lasciare scalza! Prada, molto gentilmente, si è offerto di fare un ordine speciale per me, già, perché questo modello non è disponibile in tutta Europa e l’unico modo per averla è produrla appositamente del numero che mi occorre… certo dovrò aspettare 40/50 giorni, ma ne vale la pena, non credete?!?

During the Pitti show, I went to the flagship store in Florence and a couple of weeks ago they called me back to tell me it was available!!! I booked it, paid for it, they shipped it… and when I tried it on… I felt like Drusilla and Anastasia while trying to put the glass slipper on in Disney’s Cinderella…it just wouldn’t fit!!! It could have been a great pleasure to wear them before the spring’s arrival but unfortunately…this is never going to happen, tomorrow I will send them back home, to Florence, but don’t worry, Enry will not remain barefooted! Prada, kindly offered to make a special order for me, since this model is no longer available in Europe and the only way to get one is…to produce a pair of my size… I will have to wait 40/50 days for sure, but it’s worthwhile, don’t you agree?!?
