A day with Mua Mua Dolls for Fausto and Masha!

[youtube width=”900″ height=”530 ” video_id=”-sNt0r_8Hfo”]

All celebrities own one…a Mua Mua doll that looks like them, with distinctive traits that make every doll unique through a detail, a tinge, a peculiarity that may sometimes pass unnoticed but is still recognizable… I thought that Fausto Puglisi, who dresses the stars, would have his own Mua Mua on his birthday, and that so would Masha, who always stands by his side and would wear his creations with style and class better than anyone else. So, with a two-piece woollen crêpe, strass and earrings, me and Matteo joined Ludovica Virga, the designer of MUA MUA dolls, in her atelier to team up together and create a special gift. Meanwhile, another important mission was under way: Vogue Italia has asked Ludo to create a pug-dog for the initiative PUG DOG FOR HAPPY KIDS (remember my post?), And some famous designers enjoyed dressing these Steiff plush pug-dogs up. They will be sold at LUISA VIA ROMA and the proceeds will go to Unicef. Franca Sozzani specifically asked for a punk style pug-dog and she got one… The pet wears a collar-chain recycled from a vintage Chanel bag, Wristbands created using Dolce&Gabbana gloves closed with safety-pins, a head-piece by Maison Michel and a pair of sunglasses by Alexander Wang for Linda Farrow, we looked after the piercing rings, placing some on the ears and some others on the nose… fabulous and definitely punk! Once our customization job was over, we reached Fausto in his showroom to give him his presents That he much appreciated! Happy happy happy birthday to you!!
