Grazie a tutti!!!

Ah…Christmas day morning….calm, serene….NO, NOT AT MY PLACE! At home things go this way: Emma sets her alarm clock at 7.51 (these nine minutes preceding the X hour are necessary for her to get organised: get up, wake her sister Carola up, realising, when still in bed, if Santa Claus has come this year too, get out of the bed, put her slippers on, go to the bathroom, brush her teeth and wash her face) and be ready steady at 8 o’ clock to open the living room door and say: “Mum, Dad…Santa Claus has come!!!“ (we wake up at 8.01). “…he ate all the biscuits we prepared for him, he drank the glass of milk and he even answered to our card….he wrote THANK YOU…” They start opening their gifts and commenting on them, with satisfaction or disappointment, they say how good Santa was in remembering what they asked him in their letter. It seems that a bomb has exploded at home: toys everywhere, ribbons, gift paper, cards, instructions of use, paper and plastic boxes that must be absolutely sectioned for the differentiated refuse collection in a desperate trial to save our planet. But toys with no batteries are of no use and the new mission is now that of finding a set of batteries to power speaking horses and bunnies, PCs, remote controls for the Wii, dolls who get sick, recover soon and wee. Santa Claus has organised everything…..even the Duracell batteries…..we are out of danger now! My gifts do not need any battery,…they work well without it… The energy to use them and wear them, it’s all mine ;-)! A silk top and a marvellous hat from Caterina Gatta and Francesco Ballestrazzi, two very interesting books and an eye shadow, a couple of bags, I’d dare to say…almost impossible to find and get… A mini multicolour Céline Luggage and a mini Boy Chanel of the 2013 cruise collection, a pair of Chanel damask sandals with a Louis XVI heel, a pair of ankle boots by Christian Louboutin, that the press office in Paris gave me after a shooting I did for them, probably because they imagined it would have been a grief for me to separate from these shoes. And a stylish Xmas decoration, a ceramic crèche, and a Trendy Box of which I’ll tell you soon. Matteo gave me a jacket by Ofelia, Almala a bangle and a marvellous pair of earrings, and G.A.R.B.O. press office gave me a Ilariamai Comme l’oiseau bag, I’m already thinking to mix and match with my outfits. Finally, one of my favourite gifts, those gifts that you needn’t unwrap… A stay in Cortina….I’m looking forward to it! Thank you everybody!!!
