L’odore del peccato

IMG_3561

L’

Come andrà a finire? Appena rientro a casa, devo scappare in bagno, senza passargli vicino.

The scent of sin is all over me. I should have taken a shower, but after finishing we’ve started all over again. I cann0t keep on lying, telling Francesco I am going to be late at work tonight. He’s not that stupid. This morning, before going out, he darted a look at my lacy dress, the one I was trying on and I immediately understood that he knew what I knew. He’s nodded swallowing that certainty back deep inside. For a moment I thought he was looking at me the way he used to, but no… he no longer does and I can’t help but eating this slice of juicy life that happened  on my lips without asking for it. And while for my husband I am like ether, Roberto tastes me with no fuss, as if I were a forbidden fruit. Today he’s invited me to the Castle hotel, the one I really like and while climbing up the stairs, he has taken me by the hand with a sweet soft squeeze. How will it all end? Don’t know, but I don’t feel guilty and I don’t want to stop. Sure, I don’t mean to hurt my husband by throwing the sad truth into his face, I will make a decision and ponder the situation without delays. I am a woman and he has neglected me for too long a time. Over the past years, his too many ‘nos’ have wounded me to death, despite my bold requests, my super looks and perfect body. He has succeeded in persuading me I was the most boring habit, while, I am a woman wearing the perfume of sin.  A sin that tastes red fruits dipped into warm milk and the redundant sound of a hurricane of sighs. Every time I enter my home I need to run to the bathroom without going near him. Sin shall stay on my tight dress, until somebody or something breaks my crave of being chained to an odious role only to avoid the next hateful denial.
