The Big Ben Theory ;-)

FAY SPRING SUMMER COLLECTION 2014

2. Niente è facile come sembra. Se sembra facile, è dura. Se sembra difficile, è fottutamente impossibile. 3.

DEDICATED TO ALL LATE-COMERS ON EARTH

If it’s true that being punctual is a typical characteristic of bored people, the constant delay is typical of those who have a frantic life but it also true that clocks are merciless…and the Big Ben, the most famous clock tower in the world is no exception to the rule! Thanks to the theories of Captain Edward A. Murphy Jr., who everybody knows, I’ve created my own personal theory: anything I can do to be on time, recoils on me. Those who were born as late-comers will die the same way and trying to avoid this ineluctable fate is impossible! There are those who simply look at the watch to check the time and toner, like me, who bravely  challenge time and start a monologue, saying: “I can make it…” but it’s always a good practice to bear in mind a series of possible variables: 1.Eeverything you do requires more time than you expected. 2. Nothing is as easy as it seems at first. If it seems easy, it will be quite a hard task. If it seems difficult, it will be impossible. 3. Everyone of us has a plan that will not be successful. All considered, I have to admit that if you have a habit and you don’t like it and you try your best to change it but you can’t, well, this means this habit is part of you and you can’t do without. Here is the theory explaining why there are people who are able to seize the day and others who are always 10 minutes late, when the day to seize has already gone! Okay, you, bully time, you always win! Maybe it’s true that I can’t catch you but at least I can do what is second nature to me: running and hurrying in a bid to reach you…
