Rome: hit and run!

E anche quest’anno sono riuscita a incastrare un weekend in una delle città che più amo: Roma. Ho lavorato un sacco, ma sono anche riuscita a rivedere i miei cari amici che non vedevo da tanto tempo! Sole, temperature miti e uno shopping attento e misurato. Se passate da quelle parti vi consiglio di fare un giretto per Via Margutta, la strada in cui abitava l’affascinante Mr. Bradley di “Vacanze Romane”. Dopo il ristorante vegetariano, troverete un fantastico negozio Vintage, l’angolo dello Charme, che vende pezzi eccezionali di Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Fendi. Sono riuscita a trovare una borsa che volevo da tempo, un pezzo da collezione che Vuitton non produce più: una Monogram Ellipse! Fateci un salto, io non sarei più uscita!

And this year too I’ve managed to organise a week-end trip to one of the cities I love most: Rome. I’ve worked a lot but I’ve also met my dear friends as it was long since I last saw them! Sun, warm weather and a careful and balanced shopping. If you are planning to go to Rome, I recommend you a stroll in Via Margutta, the street where the charming Mr. Bradley in “Roman Holidays” used to live. Past the vegetarian restaurant, you’ll find a fabulous vintage boutique called l’angolo dello Charme and selling marvellous pieces by Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Fendi. I found a bag that I was longing for, a vintage Vuitton bag that is no longer in production: a Monogram Ellipse! I recommend you a visit there, I would have never gone out of that shop!
